INDUSTRIES Taiwan serves U.S. corporate buyers sourcing from Taiwan industry. We follow the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

Data controller. INDUSTRIES Taiwan is published by Taiwan Global Media Group (Taiwan), which is the data controller responsible for personal data collected through this site. INDUSTRIES Taiwan is produced in editorial partnership with Compass Magazine; “Compass Magazine” is used under licence and is not the data controller.

What we collect

• Newsletter and briefing signups — email, job title, company (optional), opt-in time. Stored until you unsubscribe.
• Lead-source attribution — referral URL, UTM parameters on first visit. Used to improve our publishing mix; never sold.
• Aggregate analytics — anonymized page views, session duration, and referrers, only after you opt in via the consent banner.
• Marketing platforms — LinkedIn Insight Tag and HubSpot fire only after opt-in. We do not run Meta Pixel or third-party ad networks.
• Embedded content — charts, video, and maps inside briefings. None loads until you opt in.

CCPA / CPRA — your California rights

If you are a California resident you can request:

• To know what personal information we have collected about you in the prior 12 months.
• Deletion of that information, with certain legal exceptions.
• Correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Opt-out of "sale" or "sharing" — we do not sell or share personal information as defined by CPRA, but you can still register an opt-out preference.

Cross-border transfer (PDPA Art. 21)

INDUSTRIES Taiwan is published in Taiwan by Taiwan Global Media Group but hosted in the United States (Cloudflare Pages, US region) because the audience is U.S. corporate buyers. Personal data submitted to this site is processed and stored in the United States.

Retention

Newsletter records: until unsubscribe. Server logs: 30 days. Aggregated analytics: 14 months. Lead-source attribution: 24 months.
